Nassau often gets a bad reputation as a port where people stay onboard, but today reminded me why exploring with a local guide can completely change your perspective.

We spent the day tasting authentic Bahamian food, sipping delicious local cocktails, and learning about the rich history and culture of the islands. It was the perfect reminder that some of the best travel experiences happen when you step beyond the tourist areas and connect with the destination through its people.

If Nassau is on your cruise itinerary, don’t write it off! There are some incredible experiences waiting just beyond the pier. ✨

Cruises aren’t just about the ports, sometimes the best memories are made on the sea days, too. 🚢☀️

Today was filled with great food, entertainment, relaxation, a little casino fun, and plenty of time to simply enjoy being on vacation. From live shows and karaoke to unique onboard activities, there’s always something happening on board.

Tomorrow we’ll be exploring Nassau, Bahamas 🇧🇸 on a Bahamian food and cocktail tour, and I can’t wait to share more from our adventure!

As we head into one of the busiest travel seasons of the year, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of my clients for your support, trust, and bookings. It truly means the world to me! 🫶🏽

As an Independent Travel Advisor, I am only compensated when a trip is booked. While I absolutely love helping people plan their vacations, I do spend many hours researching destinations, comparing options, building quotes, and sharing recommendations and that time is unpaid unless a booking is completed.

🌴💙 Jamaica Spotlight: Ocho Rios & Blue Hole 💙🌴

Today was a perfect reminder of why Jamaica is one of my favorite destinations to recommend!

We spent the morning at Blue Hole in Ocho Rios, swimming in crystal-clear blue water, jumping from waterfalls, and taking in the incredible scenery. It’s easily one of Jamaica’s must-see attractions.

The best part? The authentic experiences. Our local guide surprised us with a stop to pick fresh mangoes straight from his tree 🥭, and later we relaxed at a private beach with beautiful views and a beachside massage. 🌊☀️

Jamaica is so much more than resorts, it’s the people, the culture, the food, and the unforgettable moments that make it special. ❤️🇯🇲

🐢 One of the coolest moments of our Grand Cayman excursion was seeing a sea turtle up close in the wild! There’s something magical about watching these gentle creatures glide through the crystal-clear Caribbean water.

🌴 Travel Agent Takeaway: Grand Cayman is a MUST-DO Port! 🌴

Today reinforced exactly why Grand Cayman remains one of the most beloved cruise destinations in the Caribbean.

Crystal-clear turquoise water, incredible snorkeling, friendly wildlife, and unforgettable experiences all wrapped into one port day. We spent the day exploring some of Grand Cayman’s most iconic attractions, including Stingray City and Starfish Point, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.

🩵 Interacting with the gentle stingrays at Stingray City
☀️ Soaking up every bit of Caribbean sunshine

As someone who has visited many Caribbean islands, Grand Cayman has quickly climbed to the top of my favorites list. The water is simply breathtaking, and the excursions offer the perfect mix of adventure, wildlife, and relaxation.

If Grand Cayman is on your cruise itinerary, don’t stay on the ship—get out and explore. This island is truly something special.

Today was one of those days that reminds me why I love travel so much.

We spent the day soaking up the sunshine, enjoying incredible food, exploring the ship, dressing up for formal night, and taking in the Captain’s Welcome celebration. Every corner of the ship has something new to discover!

Tomorrow we’re headed to beautiful Grand Cayman, where we’ll be swimming with stingrays and snorkeling among starfish. 🌊⭐️

As a travel advisor, I love helping others plan these kinds of memory-making experiences, but it’s also nice to step away from work for a few days and experience the magic firsthand.
