I’ve heard it more times than I can count.

But my response has always been the same:
“I can’t afford not to go.”

We live in a world where judgment is constant—
You’re criticized for doing too much, not enough, how you parent, when you rest, when you don’t.
But do you know what I’ve been judged for the most?

Taking vacations.

“You should save.”
“You should wait.”
“You can’t afford that.”

But here’s the truth:
We’re not promised next summer.
We’re not even promised tomorrow.

Sure, I could’ve waited—until things were more stable, more comfortable.
But I would’ve missed years.
Years of memories with my kids.
Years of laughter on roller coasters, new views, rich cultures, and last-minute flights taken just to be together.

Yes, we can wait.
But we can also miss out.

Time is a gift.
Time is never guaranteed.

So don’t let guilt steal the moments that matter.
Don’t wait for perfect—it rarely comes.

I don’t always know how it’ll work out.
But somehow, it always does.
And I’m forever grateful I chose to live now.

They say you get 18 summers with your kids…
Well, my oldest just turned 18.

I’m so excited to be sending this beautiful couple on their honeymoon…and they leave tomorrow 😱

Last minute trip? No problem! I got you!

This couple will be arriving in Fort Lauderdale tomorrow and staying at the BEAUTIFUL Hilton Marina Hotel for two days…

Then off to the Virgin Islands and staying at Secrets Harbour Beach Resort for 6 days, I got them a rental car to explore the island 🏝️ and non stop round trip flights.

I hope they have an adventure of a lifetime!
