Jordan, Wadi Rum, Petra and snorkeling in the Red Sea at sunset was awesome. It was a busy two days and we are wrapping it up! It was great to be back in the Holy Land. Thanks to Casey Paul Griffiths and the Bountiful Travel team for an amazing trip!

This photo was taken in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, inside the Chapel of the Syrians—an often-overlooked room tucked just behind the Tomb Chamber (believed to be where Jesus’s body was laid and where He rose—perhaps the holiest site in all of Christianity).

We made it here just before 9 PM, after winding our way through the Old City. There are so many reasons this was “one of those nights.” Grateful to Casey Paul Griffiths for his years of gospel study and teaching that helped bring this sacred evening to life.

We began at Banias (Caesarea Philippi), where springs feed the Jordan and Peter boldly declared Jesus as the Christ, hearing, “Upon this rock I will build my church.” At the Mount of Beatitudes, we reflected on the Sermon on the Mount, its peaceful hills echoing Christ’s words. A boat ride on the Sea of Galilee brought us close to where Jesus walked on water. In Magdala, we stood in a first-century synagogue, feeling Mary Magdalene’s devotion. Finally, the Valley of the Doves offered a quiet path Jesus likely walked, tying Nazareth to Galilee.
These places make the scriptures come alive!

We spent most of the day in and around Nazareth, where Jesus spent His early years. Highlights included:
• Cana, where Christ performed His first recorded miracle
• Nazareth Village, a hands-on look at first-century life
• The Church of the Annunciation
• The Nazareth Precipice, with a stunning view over the Jezreel Valley — and a powerful scriptural connection

We also visited Magidda (Megiddo) — a strategic ancient city with layers of history and a view toward the future as the site of Armageddon.

To top it all off, we had dinner at our friend’s home — a local Sheikh and Bedouin host, who welcomed us with incredible hospitality, conversation, and a feast to remember.

We’re excited to be back in Israel!
Casey Griffiths is leading our first trip of the spring, with Hank Smith and John Hilton III heading up tours in the coming weeks.

Yesterday (Day 1) we arrived in Tel Aviv and got settled for the journey ahead.

Today (Day 2) we dove right into some incredible sites:
• Walked through Old Jaffa, where Peter received his vision and Jonah boarded a ship to flee.
• Stopped at Caesarea, the Roman capital where Paul defended his faith before kings.
• Wrapped up the day on Mount Carmel, standing where Elijah called down fire from heaven.

There’s nothing like experiencing the scriptures in the very places they happened.

We’re halfway through an unforgettable journey exploring South America and Antarctica! From the majestic Iguazú Falls to the “End of the World” in Ushuaia, every stop has been breathtaking. Sailing through Antarctica’s icy waters, surrounded by glaciers and wildlife, was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Bountiful Travel in collaboration with Hank Smith, John Bytheway and John Hilton III partnered to offer a "Trip of a Lifetime" to a deserving person or couple experiencing hardships in their lives. We had a wonderful response from so many and had many deserving submissions from friends and family.
