We use a music base as our key teaching tool, this along with engaging puppets, games and a well structured solid curriculum make Little Learners the highest quality preschool and private Kindergarten. We work for our families to assure that we continue to offer this high quality experience ALL children deserve while still making it affordable for all families. That’s a wrap!! Another amazing school year complete. It’s been a crazy ride. It’s been so joyful though.

I have missed my long time friends and teachers who have moved on and are moving on but I’m grateful for all that we accomplished together every year. This work started as a work of heart and for 25 school years now we have been loving and serving children in their foundational years.

I have loved being back in the classroom. I have loved being back at the school full time and I have loved seeing the love, joy, wonder and awe of the teachers and students. It fills my heart up every day. 🥰❤️🫶

Big thank you to the parents who have chosen us over the years. Partnering with you all has been an honor. I love your children and I’ve loved seeing them all grow up over the years too.

I’m feeling very sentimental tonight. I was at the school hosting a very special event. Afterwards, I walked through the school to lock it up and was flooded with so much gratitude for it all. It’s hard to put into words but I’m grateful for the teachers over all these years, I’m grateful for the families who chose us every year, I’m grateful for the love that fills those walls and creates a safe, loving space for children to flourish. A child can know their ABCs and still struggle in school…
Because academics are built on skills most parents were never taught to look for.
Things like: – Can they sit and attend? – Can they control their body? – Can they process directions? – Can they persist when something is hard?
- How do they play?
These are the real predictors of success.
If we wait until kindergarten to notice gaps, we’re already behind. Our kids deserve better. This new digital era is not good for our children’s social, emotional and cognitive development. All parents love their children and want the best for them. 25 years of running our private school, Little Learners Academy, I know this is true. We have seen a steep decline in children’s baseline abilities to do all the things that are precursors to academic and life long success compared to even just 5-7 years ago. This and many studies proving children under the age of 6 should not be exposed to tablets, phones and the quick mindless images and videos they watch and play on them. It is shrinking their white space development. We are seeing developmental delays in typical children who should not have any. We want to raise awareness and work together with our parents to give your child the very best start. ❤️ Here are some articles and studies.
