Hello Delta Heat Family and Friends,

In 2022, an estimated 287,850 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 51,400 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer. We all know someone who’s been affected by breast cancer. And we’ve all wondered what we can do to help.

HERE’S YOUR CHANCE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

In support of one of our own, Dr. Deundra Hearne, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, we are hosting a t-shirt fundraiser. Join us in the fight by purchasing a “Her fight is our fight” shirt. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Pink Savvy Incorporated, a nonprofit organization that provides support services to individuals newly diagnosed with breast cancer.

We are so proud of our teams! They are really doing so very well! And making gains every competition!

Two days of competition. First day coach forgot to get good pictures. However!

Day one:
Tinys-excellent
Mini-2nd
Jr- 4th

Day two:
Tinys-excellent
Minis- 1st
Jr- 3rd.

Saturday was an early day, each team preformed amazingly. Juniors had to make a last minute change to their routine and had a goal to make their score go up. They did their homework and cleaned up what I asked them to. I couldn’t be more proud of their performance given their circumstances!

Minis are consistently getting better at working together as a team, and it shows! This team is 60% brand new to competitive cheer. They are rocking it.

Tinys pulled the best routine I have seen from them. They are really coming together and learning the fundamentals!

I’m ready for the next one!!! Let’s go HEAT! 🧡🖤

When you add difficulty to a routine the practice before a competition and tell them hit 0 and you can pie us in the face, the athletes pull through!
