TED 3 could officially begin production soon, with Mark Wahlberg expected to return as John Bennett if the long awaited sequel moves forward.
The original TED films followed John and his foul mouthed childhood teddy bear as their friendship somehow survived adulthood, relationships and increasingly ridiculous situations.
Mark Wahlberg starred alongside Seth MacFarlane, who voiced Ted and directed both movies, while the franchise later expanded with Peacock’s successful prequel series.
A third movie has been discussed for years, and renewed interest around the franchise has kept the possibility of another big screen chapter alive.
Nothing has been officially announced yet, but TED 3 may finally be getting closer with Mark Wahlberg potentially back at the center of it.
