Please realize that every "successful" person that seems to have it all together--- they too have a story. Many have been where you are now... and at some point they were awakened. They said "I have to do better! I WILL do better!"... and day by day they made it happen. So please-- be inspired. And nurture the change that you want to see in yourself. Feed your dreams with plans and ex*****on. Set goals and crush them. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Make your way, make your destiny.

👋🏽 I’ve never formally introduced myself appropriately to all the new friends I’ve made here, so here it goes. Hi, I’m Yisel, originally from Cuba, and I’m a wanderlust addict. Pharmacist by trade but photographer and travel blogger at heart.
In my spare time, I plan my next trips and daydream about Paris, which happens to be my favorite city. I spend a lot of time with my family, I’m a daddy’s girl and we love to pop champagne together. I believe in God, and that He can guide your path to be the best for you. My hubby and 2 Yorkies always keep a smile on my face. I love food (who doesn’t?) and one of my addictions is passionfruit and macaroons. I’m also an avid coffee and tea drinker. My favorite flavors are zesty and spicy, and I love me some lemon! Lemon me up! I have a special place in my life for bath bombs and aromatherapy. I think life is what you make it, and it shouldn’t be taken too seriously. I love to dance and have fun, music is a must! I’m a believer, a dreamer, a doer. And well I am so many things, because humans, we have depth. Oh and I like wine, gin, and vodka, throw some cheese in there too and prosciutto. I tried to be vegetarian and it didn’t work, then pesqueterian, and failed. Lol 😂
I have many dreams and aspirations that constantly change. As an extrovert it’s easy for me to get side tracked, but there’s one thing that never changes. My plan is to see the whole world while taking awesome photos and sharing all of my positivity and my travel experiences with others so that they too can feel passionate about travel and see this amazing earth. I hope to see the 7 wonders of the world and the 7 continents before turning 37! Here I am in Marrakech, in one of the many lamp shops of the Medina. I took one of these home!

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens. I’ve always held true that everything is about perspective. Being a child at heart and a free spirit has allowed me to see the positive in everything, but it doesn’t mean I’m not negative at times. It for sure allows me to accomplish so much, to do so much, to live so much. People always ask me “how do you do it”, “how do you have the time”, “aren’t you tired”, and honestly I don’t know how to be any other way, I may be tired but I still see possibility, I still see an opportunity to get more done, to be more positive, to love more. Don’t get me wrong I don’t have it all figured out. No one does. We are all in this together, and that’s the beauty of life.
How can you let the light in a little more today? How can you be the light for someone who needs you? How can you be there for your loved ones, create memories with them? Don’t let any wounds hold you back. These are questions we need to ask ourselves everyday. 💛

This charming town of Chefchaouen is nestled in the Rif Mountains of Northern Morocco, known as The Blue Pearl. The name is perfect for this city. The blue color all over its ancient medina walls draw many tourists from all over the world. Arriving to Chefchaouen is one of the most special experiences in Morocco. After crossing the breathtaking mountain views and villages to get here, you are immediately taken back by the blue sight. I have to say it reminded me a tad bit of Santorini. I had always dreamt of coming here from the moment I knew we were visiting Morocco. The 4 hour drive was worth it.
I felt like a princess exploring this town. All of its alley ways are beautifully decorated. The doors have striking aesthetics and all the facades transport you to a fairytale. I had one of the cheapest meals in Morocco here from a small shop on the Main Street. 8 euros for 2 large orange juices, 2 delicious chicken sandwiches, and 2 orders of French fries. We were happy! 💕 I’m fascinated by the desert. Something so simple, yet the beauty it holds is immense. What’s so appealing about the desert? I feel like it’s such a remote location where you can feel an utmost intimate connection with yourself, your thoughts, and your dreams.
The desert is so magical that its openness allowed me to feel closeness on a higher level. The silence, where you can hear the sand grains rubbing against each other as the wind carries them to a dune nearby. This silence brings a sense of tranquility, a sense of belonging.
When the sun set behind the dunes I had a reflection. It was one of the most beautiful sights I had ever been blessed to see. As I looked into the horizon I couldn’t stop myself from realizing that everything happens for a reason. If the desert were to have lots water and allow plants to grow, it would itself disappear. Yes trees and plants are beautiful but so is the desert. Trees and plants serve a purpose. But so does the desert, just ask the native berber people who live there and love it. Everything in it’s own place for its own service to the world. 🌍

I’ve been to a lot of spas, and I can put my hands in the fire to say that I’ll probably never visit another spa as amazing as . What a magical hotel. One of the highlights of our Morocco trip for sure.
Though we were in a time crunch and weren’t able to enjoy as much time here as I would have liked to, the small amount of time we did spend left us mesmerized with the place.
My hubby was kinda “over it”, taking so many pictures, but how could you not when a place looks this enchanting! I can’t wait to return and spend a couple of nights here.❤️
