One of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor is seeing my clients' vacations finally come to life.

This month is one of my busiest travel months of the year, with clients heading out on everything from first-time Walt Disney World vacations to incredible European cruises. After months of planning, there's nothing better than seeing the photos, hearing the stories, and knowing they've made memories they'll never forget.

Every trip is special, but getting to share in the excitement once they arrive is truly the best part of what I do. ✨

Disney’s Oceaneer Club is the kids club for ages 3-10 on the Disney Wish and it is AMAZING. It’s huge and has that fantastic theming that Disney is known for. There are different themed play areas including Star Wars Cargo Bay, Marvel Super Heroes Academy, Walt Disney’s Imagineering Lab and Fairytale Hall. For the littlest oceaneers is a play space called Minnie & Mickey’s Captain Deck. There are age appropriate activities offered all throughout the sailing and kids never want to leave. Characters even make special appearances to interact with the kids! They love having fun, playing and making new friends.

The Grand Hall is the heart of every Disney ship and brings that immediate wow moment when you board. The Disney Wish has a Grand Hall themed after Cinderella with beautiful blues, whites and golds. The chandelier on any Disney ship is stunning but I especially love this one! Don’t forget to look up at the balcony for some character sightings when you first board. And be sure check out the statue of Cinderella, you may see a familiar friend hiding under her dress 😉

This weekend Jackson enjoyed time at the It’s a Small World Nursery, and mom and dad got a break! It’s for kids ages 6 months to 3 years. It’s beautiful, clean and the cast members are wonderful. There’s tons of bright colors and toys, along with a restful nap space. They can even give your kiddos snacks here if you would like! It’s $10 per hour and you can book up to 10 hours in advance of your sailing, with more being booked on the ship pending availability. The best part for me though was the safety & security measures they take, as well as the great communication that made us feel good about letting him spend time here.

It’s cruise time! We are officially aboard The Disney Wish. After the embarkation process, exploring the ship and some housekeeping items once we got on the ship, we headed to check out our room which was ready at 130pm.

We are staying in a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. Disney Cruise Line staterooms are so spacious compared to other cruise lines. In addition to the space, one thing that also sets these rooms apart is the split bathroom. One room has a toilet and sink, one room has a shower and sink. Which makes getting ready with families SO much easier. We also chose a “bump out” room which gave us a larger balcony. This room also has plenty of space for our pack and play to be tucked away and not squished in the middle of the room. We are so excited to call this home for the weekend!

This week I’ll be setting sail on the beautiful Disney Wish for a 3-night Bahamian cruise with my family—and it will be my son’s first cruise! 🚢✨
