🎭 From the classroom to the stage!

For our Dreyfoos AP Spanish Literature students, a recent visit to Palm Beach Dramaworks was an opportunity to see literature come to life!

After studying Federico García Lorca’s La casa de Bernarda Alba in class, students attended a performance of Alba, a contemporary adaptation that brought the play's timeless themes to a new generation.

The experience included an engaging pre-show discussion with Gary Cadwallader, Director of Education and Community Engagement at Palm Beach Dramaworks, and a special opportunity to meet playwright Alejandro Rodriguez following the performance.

Thank you to for generously inviting our students and creating such a memorable evening of learning and artistic discovery!

The Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation is proud to help make experiences like this possible, connecting classroom education with the performing arts and opening doors to new perspectives and inspiration. ✨
