Okay so, I’ll be out of office next week because I’m headed to Punta Cana. 🌴

And yes, there will be sunshine involved. I will not pretend that part is a hardship.

But the real reason I’m going is because I earned this trip through ALG Vacations, and I’ll be spending the week experiencing Punta Cana firsthand and touring multiple resorts so I can better help my clients choose what actually fits them.

Because here’s the thing about all-inclusive resorts: the photos can all start to look the same after a while.

Pretty beach. Pretty pool. Pretty room.

But in person? That’s where you notice the details — the beach feel, the service, the food, the room locations, the resort layout, the vibe, and whether it’s better for couples, families, groups, or someone who just wants quiet and zero decisions for a few days.

That’s the kind of stuff I pay attention to for my clients. It’s the extra touches that make the difference.

Is St. Lucia actually worth it?

If you want a Caribbean trip with beautiful beaches and a resort scene, you have plenty of options.

But if you want dramatic scenery, a more romantic feel, and a destination that feels a little more special than just pool chairs and frozen drinks, St. Lucia is absolutely worth a look. 🌿

The Pitons are the headline for a reason. They give the whole island this stops-you-in-your-tracks kind of backdrop. Add in the lush mountains, the quieter luxury feel, and the overall atmosphere, and it’s a great fit for couples who want Caribbean warmth without a party-heavy vibe. 🌊

For real, St. Lucia is not the island I’d pick for everyone.

But for the right traveler, it’s dreamy. ✨

May has historically been my slowest month for new travel bookings… but one of my busiest months for clients actually traveling.

Okay but can we talk about all-inclusive resorts for a second? 🌴

Between European itineraries and Alaska cruisetours, I feel like I've been in full adventure-planning mode lately — but I have to say, all-inclusive resorts are truly some of my favorites to book. 🌴

My favorite trips aren't always the most glamorous ones.

Every year I talk to people who say the same thing:
