Weirdest thing happen today gonna try and make it short as possible.
Lady called from a neighborhood we’re working in , says wants to get a sunken trench patched, sounded like she said it’s a air bnb my neighbor mike is gonna pay you, he said your his aspahlt guys.
Well coincidentally recently picked up a client who owns air bnbs for a living from the same area I’m like oh ok , your in luck we’re on our way to the plant to pick up mix for a job down the street from you we will pick up a extra ton and do yours today too.
We get there do the patch and find out she is there we say oh I guess your paying us since your here not mike ?
She says no I’m not paying you for this mike ruined this patch putting up his new wall/fence dividing our property, he gave me your number yesterday said this is my aspahlt guys call them and they will get it done and I will pay them.
So I said ok by chance do you have his phone number she gives it to me it’s not my guy mike it’s some other guy named mike who we never met.
So I asked Jerry bro did you hit this House he said yea no one was home I left a flyer on the table , so this guy mike got our flyer from his air bnb that he owns , lied to the lady said we’re his aspahlt guys and we ASSUMED it was our mike and went ahead and did it🤣
This new mikes voicemail box is full and hasn’t answered us yet or my text , crossing my fingers that he might pay us , if not then lesson learned here either way!
