Spent a moment at the Ulysses S. Grant memorial today... The man who signed Yellowstone, and inadvertently our national parks, into existence.

I don't understand government shutdowns...But parks should always be open and managed.

Last grizzly.

Keeping with my last theme, this last bear I saw in the park was literally running down the road towards the exit as I was leaving the park to drive home. Seeing me off?

Last Coyote

One thing you don't think about while working in Yellowstone is that as the season comes to an end some of your photos will be the last; the last bear you see, the last wolf, and this one is the last Coyote I photographed for the 2018 season. It was raining, didn't really want to stop for 'just' a coyote, but now that I'm back in suburbia I remember how special all those moments are!
