To go or not to go? ✈️💃

The debate is real! Every dance parent eventually faces the “solo trip” dilemma. While it’s hard to stay behind, the growth I see in dancers who travel with their team is incredible.

The Pros:
✅ Independence: They learn to manage their own schedule and gear.
✅ Confidence: Navigating a new city with their team makes them feel unstoppable.
✅ Bonding: Those late-night hotel room laughs build friendships that last a lifetime.

The Cons:
⚠️ FOMO: You’ll definitely miss seeing those stage moments in person!
⚠️ Trust: You have to feel 100% confident in the studio’s chaperones and planning.

If you’re looking for a straightforward performance opportunity, I would recommend Dance at sea - one of our all-inclusive tropical destinations, or one of our many Disney opportunities. Our European tours are a little bit different. They’re more personalized and built around your Dance School‘s goals many performance opportunities are by invitation only we match a group with the festival you’ve been invited to perform at that means Travel days are often tied to the festival schedule, which is typically in July. The best tour is not necessarily about choosing the destination it’s about choosing the experience that’s right for your dancers and their dance families. As a former dance studio owner and lifelong dance educator, I know the incredible privilege of watching dancers grow from tiny preschoolers into confident young adults. Many eventually move on to university, careers, and family life, but one thing never really leaves them: they’re still dancers. I can’t tell you how many former students have said to me, ‘I miss dancing’ or ‘I wish there was something like this for adults.’ That thought inspired me to create something completely different: Dancers Reboot NYC. This is a one-of-a-kind experience designed exclusively for former dancers, dance teachers, and adults 18+ who want to step back into the studio, whether it’s been two years or 20. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with the joy of dance, learn from Broadway performers and the Radio City Rockettes, make new friends, and experience New York City with people who share the same passion. There is no pressure to compete, no auditions, no expectations just the opportunity to dance again. I believe many of your alumni, adult dancers, teachers, and dance families would love to know this opportunity exists. If you feel this experience would resonate with your community, I would be grateful if you would consider sharing it through your alumni, email lists, newsletters, social media, or adult dance programs.
