A super fun new family resort is coming to Punta Cana! This brand new build will have a water park with slides for all ages, bowling alley, kids club, teen club, tons of dining options including 24hr room service. One of the truly incredible experiences in Iceland. The Skaftafell Glacier Hike takes place in Vatnajökull National Park, South Iceland. The scenery is stunning as you are surrounded by many glaciers cascading down several mountains and volcanoes. The hike is not for the meek, we did the easiest one and we made it! Iceland’s glaciers are often covered with dark ash from the volcano eruptions in the area. 11 different volcanoes have erupted in Iceland over the past 20 years and many of them have errupted more than once! These frequent eruptions result in a lot of ash being distributed all over the island, including a dusting on the glaciers. It makes Iceland a very unique place with contrasting landscape that is constantly changing. This island needs to be on your bucket list if you are looking for something completely different and experiences that you cannot do anywhere else.

There is so much to do and see in sunny Spain. These images are from the region of Catalonia (around Barcelona). Is this one region you can see so much!

*Enjoy the Gothic Quarter, architecture, museums and shopping Barcelona
*Visit the stunning Sagrada Familia, the Gaudi cathedral that has been under construction for 140yrs!
*Get lost in the narrow streets and staircases of the many medieval villages and towns
*Visit one of the many beach towns with great shops and restaurants, enjoy a promenade on the waterfront
*visit Girona a stunning medieval town where many shows are filmed including Game of Thrones
*Spend the day at the beach relaxing on the sand (chairs and umbrellas are for rent) either in Barcelona or one of the many beach towns along the Mediterranean
*Barcelona is a cruise port so you can visit this area before or after a Mediterranean cruise.

All these sights are within easy access of Barcelona or can even be done as day tours. No long distances required. A car is the best way to see it all, but most sights are accessible by rail.

The town of Sitges is a great day trip from Barcelona or as a beach resort on a tour of southern Spain. The town has great shopping, dining, long boardwalk where you can promenade along the beach. ME Sitges is the best 5* hotel option in the area. Set in a quiet area only 20mins walk to town, it is ideally located beachfront. Imagine sleeping with your doors open and listening to the sound of the waves-this is possible here!
