C**t,
I’ve been at a loss for words. The shock and pain have been unlike anything that I have ever experienced.
First we were strangers, then we were friends, then became brothers. Just kids. So many memories. I’ll never forget you’re crazy hard work ethic, your politeness to everybody, your grit, you’re hilarious, laugh, and your courage in the storm. Your zeal to care for those around you and faithfulness to show others about your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Everything from playing football, ranching, dreaming about the future, riding bulls, talking about girls, hunting, listening to music, Civil Air Patrol, Bible college, smuggling Bibles into Asia, the Marines, guiding elk hunters in Colorado, traveling the world and being each other‘s Best Man in our weddings. Just about every big step in our lives over nearly the last 30 years, we did together. There is now a huge hole in my life, and the heartbreak will take years to heal. I know without a shadow of a doubt that I will see you again in Glory. I have that hope. You are at peace and with the Lord now. You will be severely missed. I love you brother.
