🚴‍♀️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 🚴‍♂️
(Shelby County Residents, please spread this like wildfire!)

Westphalia is getting ready to welcome approximately 10,000 - 20,000 riders and visitors during RAGBRAI, and we need YOUR help to make it an unforgettable day for our community! 💛

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:
🥧 Pie Makers/Whole-Pie Donations (Target of 150 pies!)
📍 General Help Throughout Town
🥧 Pie Stand Workers
🚦 Traffic & Crowd Assistance
🧹 Clean Up Crew
💧 Rider Hospitality

We are happy to introduce our social media team as well! Meet Courtney, Greg, and Ross!

🚴‍♂️ Willkommen (Welcome) to the Westphalia Klubhaus! 🍻

Stop by and cool off with cold beer, great food, and live entertainment right in the heart of Westphalia. Whether you're riding, cheering, or just soaking in the atmosphere, the Klubhaus will be the place to be on RAGBRAI day!

Quick History: The clubhouse was constructed in 1934 under the guidance of Reverend Duren, who led the community to build several structures, including a church school, the Shrine of Our Lady of Grace, and a "First Fruits" corn crib, to promote community cooperation. It was part of a broader development that included a "recreation hall" intended for dances, parties, and meetings for residents, which included a soda fountain and billiard tables.

Now, it is run by Dusty and several long-time employees. It is famous for a relaxed atmosphere for family and friends to gather for a cold one, great food, and an even better time!

Highlights: Spaghetti 🍝 during Lent. Daily specials (prime rib 🥩, wings 🐤🍗, & stromboli 🥖🍕). Taco 🌮 night!

Don’t miss the party at the Westphalia Klubhaus as RAGBRAI comes through town! 🚲🍻

Here are the results from our weeklong poll in the large RAGBRAI group. A total of 338 votes have been recorded. 75 votes for strawberry-rhubarb, 58 rhubarb, 51 apple, 48 cherry, etc.
