The larger-than-life theming makes this one of the most fun resorts to explore. Giant characters, colorful courtyards, and movie details are everywhere!

🏊‍♀️ And the pools are a HUGE part of the fun!
The Big Blue Pool is themed to Finding Nemo and is the largest pool at the resort. Plus, you’ve got the Cars-themed Cozy Cone Pool and the Flippin’ Fins Pool! 🌊

🍴 Food options?
Landscape of Flavors is the main food court with plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And you can grab drinks at Drop Off Pool Bar while enjoying the pool!

The Disney Skyliner! 🚡✨ Art of Animation has Skyliner access, making it super easy to get to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

This resort is one of my favorites when you want that laid-back, beautiful Southern atmosphere while still being right in the middle of the Disney magic.

👑 Princess fans — listen up!
The Royal Guest Rooms are absolutely magical, with gorgeous princess-inspired details that make bedtime feel like part of the vacation!

🍴 And the food options? Plenty!
• Riverside Mill Food Court — lots of choices for quick meals and picky eaters
• Boatwright’s Dining Hall — the resort’s table-service restaurant serving Southern-inspired dishes
• Poolside dining — grab food and drinks without having to leave the pool! ☀️🍹

🎣 Ol’ Man Island & the Fishing Hole — a fun little spot to slow down and enjoy some downtime away from the parks.

🐴 Carriage rides — take a relaxing ride through the beautiful resort grounds. Such a fun extra experience!

🕹️ And the arcade!
If your kids (or adults 😉) love arcades, Riverside has a fantastic one that can be a great way to spend some downtime.

And honestly… the theming is what makes this resort so special. The moss-draped trees, waterways, bridges and Southern-style buildings make it feel like you’ve stepped into another world.

If you’re at Hollywood Studios, make sure you actually PLAY in Toy Story Land!

🚂 Slinky Dog Dash — Family-friendly coaster + SO much fun!
🎯 Toy Story Mania! — Grab those 3D glasses and see who can get the highest score! 👀
👽 Alien Swirling Saucers — A fun little spin with the green aliens!
🍔 Woody’s Lunch Box — Great spot for a quick bite.
🍖 Roundup Rodeo BBQ — Want a sit-down meal? This one is a whole Toy Story experience!

🥁 AND WATCH FOR THE GREEN ARMY MEN!
They march, drum and put on a fun little performance that you absolutely don’t want to rush past!

🤠 And keep those eyes open for Woody, Buzz & Jessie!

✨ My tip: Don’t rush through this land checking off rides. Look UP, look AROUND and take in all the details. You’re literally standing in Andy’s backyard!

Well… I was enjoying it. 😂

My daughter had apparently decided that she was DONE with costumed characters. She would not look at them or acknowledge them. 🤣

Because nothing says “I’m over Disney characters” quite like refusing to look at Minnie and Donald at a character meal. 😂🐭
