🚨 Heads up for Airbnb users!

Between Nov. 1 and Jan. 1, Airbnb is changing its fee structure.

👉 Right now:
• Hosts pay about 3% in booking fees
• Guests pay around 12%

🏠 The new model will shift the entire fee to hosts.
That means many hosts will likely raise prices or add fees to offset the change — which could make pricing less consistent for a while to say the least.

💡 Best tip: Before you book through Airbnb or Vrbo, do a quick Google search for the property name. Many hosts have direct booking sites where prices are lower because there are no
to little middleman fees.

Supporting hosts directly often means:
✅ Lower total price
✅ Better communication
✅ Fewer platform restrictions

So if you find a spot you love, see if you can book it directly with the host first!
