Being a curious traveler can be rewarding! In Hallstatt, I couldn’t resist and had to follow the scenic walkway arrow, which led us to the cutest wall-hung souvenir dispenser I have ever seen. These small but symbolic hearts now serve as lasting reminders of a beautiful mother-daughter travel experience.

My young-adult daughter and I just returned from international travel where she spent time exploring a big city independently. She proceeded with some trepidation at first, but the time on-own resulted in a wonderful sense of accomplishment, as I knew it would.

I've been keeping a close eye on the trends in solo and female-only travel, and this article offers great data points and information on the topic. Solo travel isn't a trend. I think it's here to stay, and it's wonderful the way the industry is embracing and responding to this surge in demand.
