Should you tip at an all-inclusive? I always say yes, but, on this Cinco de Mayo, here's a fantastic answer from The Cancun Sun:

"Tipping is always optional at an all-inclusive. You should absolutely keep tipping your bartender, waiter, and housekeeper for their daily hustle. But if you want to genuinely surprise someone and make a massive impact, expand your targets to the invisible workforce. Hand a $10 bill directly to the gardener raking the sand in the early morning heat. Slip a tip to the entertainment staff sweating on stage in the midday sun. You aren’t obligated to do it but throwing cash to the staff who rarely see a tip is the fastest way to instantly make someone’s week."

What is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?

Mickey’s No-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separate ticketed event that happens each year at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Offerings include exclusive entertainment, Halloween-themed food and beverages, photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise, and character greetings.

Guests can expect a party that offers the ultimate family Halloween celebration: Show off their most creative Disney-themed costume and see the Headless Horseman stalk the streets. Gather candy around every corner, see their favorite rides get a little spookier — and maybe even run into a witch or three.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates

The 2026 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates will run from August 7 to October 31. The party runs only on specific weekend or weekday nights, so be sure to consult the calendar of dates when planning a trip.

Planning Tip: To help conjure your fiendish pursuits, note that in August, party dates occur on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This is also true for September with the addition of one Thursday date on September 24. In October, ghouls can descend upon Magic Kingdom every Thursday; most Fridays, Sundays, most Tuesdays; and Saturday on Halloween.

Tickets go on sale May 5th for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green.
Tickets will be available starting on May 12 for all other guests.
Party dates often sell out, so our best tip is to plan early and purchase tickets in advance for your desired party date.

I'm getting ready to visit Puerto Rico for the first time, so I spent some time today earning my Puerto Rico Travel Specialist certification. Here's some of the more interesting info I've learned so far:
*Clapping when the plane lands? Totally fine here - it's a tradition, in fact! 👏🏼
*There are 3.5 million residents on the island of PR but approximately 5 million Puerto Ricans living in the mainland US.
*PR's most popular dish, mofongo, is made from deep fried green plantains
*PR is the rum capital of the world, birthplace of the Pina Colada, and home to more than 70 brands of rum 🍹
*The term Boricua is a unique term that highlights the "spirit, flavor, and rhythm of Puerto Rico"
