Been a few years since I have seen a bear in downtown Apgar inside Glacier Park!
Don’t mind me as I fell off the step watching this little one ❤️

West Glacier KOA

This is one of my favorite places to stay near Glacier Park. This place provides access to the west entrance and north fork areas of the park. It has a pool and hottub, playground, cabins and tent sites for rent, the most incredible flowers and live music all summer! I truly can’t recommend this place enough.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SEE THE NORTHERN LIGHTS IN MONTANA?

It feels like the last few years we have had a huge increase in northern lights. I also believe that sharing across social media platforms has helped people know when to get outside. The lights are still rarely visible to the naked eye in my experience, but rather easier seen behind a camera lens.

These were taken in October 2024 in Kalispell, Montana. One of the best light shows I have ever seen.

The first time I ever saw them was at Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park in July 2016.

The East Side of Glacier Park was shut all of 2020, but it is now open. The roads are still closed but you can walk or bike in, check Nps.gov for information and rules, including not bringing your dogs. Rode my bike through lots of snow to get here last night, but I have to say, IT Is GOOD TO BE BACK. For more check out my Instagram page,
