We call it prepared. Sleeping 28 people is wonderful, but if you do have the space and items needed, it’s frustrating. So BMH is outfitted with 3 ovens. Cook away friends!

As we take our ride closer to the sun, the warmer temps bring beautiful changes to Whitefish and the Flathead Valley. Spring and summer are amazing times full of life and activity. Everyone and everything come out of their winter slumber to stretch and cast our eyes toward the beautiful peaks in So much to do, so little time! Get out here and experience our amazing backyard.

Spring has sprung in the Whitefish, Flathead Valley and Glacier NP. There may be no more beautiful time to be here. The colors and the contrasts are spectacular. Do yourself a favor, get a flight to Glacier/Kalispell, book a stay at BMH and come enjoy this. Live outside.

Big Mountain Haus has climate controlled chair lifts.
Well, sort of. How about an original triple chair from the 70’s, installed with a photo backdrop to look like you’re on the lift? Selfies, photos, or in this case, a candid of our guests and hanging on as they “go up.” Just one of the many unique qualities of BMH. Make sure you tag us and for these photo ops!!
