The Levitt AMP Whitesburg Music Series presented by Appalachian Regional Healthcare is free to the public. Join us at the Mountain Heritage Stage every Thursday at 6 from July 22 through September 23. The Music Series presents a wide range of music to Whitesburg and Letcher county in a family friendly atmosphere. From bluegrass and old time to jazz and soul to rock and world music, you'll enjoy s

ome of the finest performers in the country right here! Levitt AMP Whitesburg is a project of the Cowan Community Center who first received the award for the 2018 summer season. Levitt Foundation has extended our latest award through the 2022 summer season. The music series would not be possible without our partners the City of Whitesburg, Mountain Heritage Festival Committee, Appalshop, Whitesburg Farmer's Market and Letcher County Tourism. The Levitt AMP Whitesburg Music Series is supported in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a private foundation that empowers towns and cities across America to transform underused public spaces into thriving destinations through the power of free, live music. In 2021, over 550 free Levitt concerts will take place in 26 towns and cities, all featuring a rich array of music genres and high caliber talent. The Levitt AMP Whitesburg Music Series presented by Appalachian Regional Healthcare receives financial support from ARH, Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation, Double Kwik Stores, Appalachian Impact Fund, MACED and the community.

We're kicking off the season with back to back shows. Our only (currently) scheduled Friday night show features living Zydeco legend and two time Grammy winner Terrance Simien. We open it up with our own mountain music stars Haywood & Griswald at 6:30. Headliner at 7:30. No farmers market tonight.
