Love this shot of a harbor seal taking a rest on a piece of 🧊. Glacier ice is incredibly important to the life of a harbor seal. They use it for protection during birthing, to rest, and during molting.

This is a great video of the Bore Tide that rolls down Turnagain Arm (the body of water we drive next to on the way to & from Anchorage & Whittier). This never-crashing wave can be up to 10 feet tall and rides the entire 50ish mile stretch down the Arm! The biggest bore tides happen around the new and full moons bringing over 30ft tidal exchanges!
