📍Gangneung, South Korea 🇰🇷

Welcome to Gangneung, where Korea’s east coast brings together beautiful beaches, ocean views and one of the country’s most celebrated coffee cultures. ☕🌊

Along Gangneung Coffee Street, cafés and local roasters line the shoreline, offering everything from freshly roasted coffee to tempting baked goods—all with the East Sea just steps away.

Beyond the cafés, Gangneung’s wide stretches of coastline, coastal scenery and relaxed atmosphere make it a destination well worth discovering.

Often overlooked by international travelers, this seaside city offers a completely different side of South Korea—and with nearby Yangyang International Airport, the eastern coast is more accessible than many travelers realize.

Would you add Gangneung to your South Korea itinerary? 🇰🇷✈️

What is a KAD?

KAD stands for Korean Adoptee.

Since the Korean War Armistice Agreement in 1953, an estimated 200,000 children from Korea have been adopted internationally.

Approximately 150,000 KADs were adopted into families in the United States, and other nations include France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium as well as Canada and Australia.

A History of Human Rights Violations

International adoption from Korea also carries a documented history of systemic human rights violations, including child abductions, falsified records, identity manipulation, inadequate consent, and failures of government oversight.

Our Stories Matter.

♥️❤️‍🔥💔❤️‍🩹🤍🇰🇷
