🌟 Goddard Volunteer Spotlight: Matt Alley 🌟
9:00 AM Ballpark
Matt has been serving in Ballpark since January 2023, helping kids grow in their faith and understand what it means to follow Jesus.
One of his favorite parts of volunteering is watching the kids take meaningful steps in their faith—whether they’re getting baptized, inviting friends to church, or simply beginning to understand God in a new way.
“I love those moments when you can see the light bulb click and the kids rally behind something. It gets me fired up!”
Matt says it’s bittersweet when the fifth graders move up to Ignite, but he loves reflecting on how much they’ve grown spiritually. He also enjoys welcoming the energetic and curious new third graders from the Farm!

🎣 Favorite hobbies: Hunting, fishing, camping, and anything outdoors
🐑 Fun fact: Matt grew up on a farm, and now he and his wife, Rachel, have their own farm with sheep, chickens, and turkeys.
Matt says experiencing God’s creation is where he feels His presence the most.
