Okay, parents of littles! You may want to add Frisco, Texas to your vacation radar.

Universal has officially opened an entirely new theme park, and this one was designed specifically with younger kids in mind.

Universal Kids Resort is Universal’s first park created for families with young children, with the sweet spot being roughly ages 3–8 (in a meeting with Universal last week, they said the park definitely ages out at 12).

Instead of building another massive park where your preschooler can ride three things and spend the rest of the day asking why they're too short, this park was designed around them.

There are seven themed lands featuring favorites like:
• Shrek
• SpongeBob SquarePants
• Minions
• Jurassic World
• Trolls
• Puss in Boots
• Gabby's Dollhouse

And it's not just rides. The park focuses heavily on interactive play, character experiences, shows, splash areas, and attractions designed for younger kids.

There is also a 300-room Universal Kids Resort Hotel right at the entrance, which is a pretty big bonus when you're traveling with kids who may suddenly decide at 2:17 PM that they are DONE with the park and need a nap immediately.

Honestly, I think this could be a really interesting alternative for families who:
✔️ Have younger children who aren't ready for the big Orlando parks
✔️ Want a theme park vacation without tackling multiple massive parks
✔️ Love the idea of a shorter, easier family getaway
✔️ Want something different than Disney
✔️ Are looking for a fun long weekend trip

And because this is a smaller regional park built specifically for younger kids, I have a feeling we're going to see a lot of families choosing Frisco for their first big theme park vacation.

Universal has entered the "we built an entire park around your child's favorite characters" era...and honestly, your wallet may be relieved that you don't have to spend seven days at four different parks.

📣 Save this before your next international trip!! 📣

The one thing I'm finding is that 99% of my clients do not know how to dial an international phone number. And no shame! Most of us have no reason to ever dial an international number.

You must dial the + at the beginning of the number. You can't just start right in with the country code/area code.

This is true even if you are using your US based phone to call a number in the US from an international country!
