Trip to the top of the state of Oklahoma. The Black Mesa Summit. 4,973 ft. 8.4 miles roundtrip. Hike is a little tougher than you might think. If it's warm, even above 80°, make sure you bring water and electrolytes. For Oklahoma, it's a pretty satisfying hiking experience.

Here's an Oklahoma Outside fun thing to do. Found a great place in West Tulsa to do some trail riding today. Tulsa Trails West. Up on Lookout Mountain. Great views, Of Tulsa throughout the ride.

Annual trip from Oklahoma to the White Rock Mountain Recreation Area. Stayed in The Lodge cabin this year. The cabins were built in the early 30s by the W.P.A. This is one of the most remote camping areas in the Oklahoma/Arkansas area that also has cabins. If you haven't been, the views are spectacular.

Robbers Cave State Park this weekend. Traditional cold weather family cabin camping we do this time of year except it was summer in December.

Claremore Mountain Bike Trails on a beautiful sunny December day. The trails in this area are extensive. Great place to bike or hike. Crystal clear streams. Elevation. Great trail system in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Osage Park Recreation Area at Skiatook Lake. Grabbed a cup of coffee in Skiatook this morning took a drive and found this jewel. Boy Scouts Troop 89 in Skiatook have developed a couple of well maintained hiking trails. Nice work boys.
