What’s the buzz at Sweeting Orchards?

Steve’s Bees are hard at work pollinating our blackberry blooms. This summer you can get a taste of this delicious honey at our orchard! 🐝🍯

Raising peaches is never easy, and this winter and spring were especially tough. January brought extreme cold and we even hit fourteen below, when twelve below is usually the cutoff for having peaches at all. We figured the crop was gone, but early this spring we started finding viable buds. Then an early warm-up pushed bloom ahead, followed by more cold that hit some varieties hard. By the grace of God, we do have peaches. There may be fewer on each tree, but that means bigger peaches for picking! πŸ‘πŸŒ³

Your Sweeting Orchards friends would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas. May you have a blessed day spent with your loved ones. ❀️

We hope you enjoy this video of Dean and John Sweeting putting up the grain bin Christmas star. This star was created six years ago by Dean Sweeting with the hope of spreading Christmas cheer throughout the community.

May we never forget the true meaning of this wonderful holiday and always keep Christ in Christmas.

β€œBut the angel said to them, β€˜Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be the sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.’”
β€” Luke 2:10–12 ✝️
