A small business update from Relax Travel Group

Effective October 1, 2026, I’ll be implementing a one-time Client Engagement Fee for new clients—or anyone who has not previously booked a vacation with me.

Once you’ve booked with Relax Travel Group, you’re a client. You will not pay the fee again for future trips.

Why the change? Because my time and expertise have value.

A lot happens behind the scenes before I ever book a trip—research, comparing options, vetting properties, answering questions and using years of experience to recommend what I believe is actually the right fit for YOU.

If you’re working with a travel agent simply to price shop, I’m probably not the right agent for you. There are plenty of great websites for that.

But if you want an experienced travel professional in your corner—someone who knows your travel style, provides personalized recommendations and is there when you need help—that’s where I bring value.

This allows me to dedicate my working hours to travelers who value that kind of service—and protect my non-working hours for my family. ❤️

To my existing clients: nothing changes. And thank you for continuing to trust me with your travels. I genuinely love what I do and the relationships I’ve built along the way.

A little September travel heads-up!

I’ll be out of the office September 14–26 doing a little traveling of my own! 🌍

If you’ve been thinking about an upcoming trip and want to work with me, now is a great time to get your travel request in so I can get things moving before I leave.

While I’m away, I’ll still be available to my current clients as needed. New travel requests will be handled by Liz at [email protected], and current clients with an urgent matter can reach me via WhatsApp at 517-614-4415.

So if a trip has been sitting in the “we should really plan that…” stage — send it my way before September 14! 😉

Cruise Month!!! One of the perks of using a travel advisor? We keep watching even after you book. 👀

Last week, I was able to get a client a stateroom upgrade.

This week, I got one for myself!

I’m a month out from my Cunard cruise and noticed the price had dropped significantly. Since I’m already past final payment, I didn’t expect much could be done.

But I reached out anyway…
And I was able to get a complimentary upgrade from an interior stateroom to a balcony!
