Join in a fun evening celebrating Images Cinema! A special screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark features a pre-film reception in The Lounge with special Snakebite cocktails 🐍 at 6pm.
Member curator Katherine Myers chose the film because she wanted a movie that would benefit from the big screen, appeal to all ages, and something that had stood the test of time.
"The stunts are incredible--while you watch Indy chase that truck on horseback or run from the boulder in the cave--not to mention the Nazi face melts at the end--remind yourself that Spielberg employed mostly practical effects: CGI was in its infancy when the film was made. Bring the whole family, kids will love it (but maybe give them a heads up about the melting faces in advance...)"

“An introduction to Textile and Fashion History: What It Is, How It's Done, and Why It's Important”

The Dolan-Jenks Barn at Williamstown Historical Museum, 32 New Ashford Road, Williamstown, MA

Free. Refreshments provided

This hands-on presentation will showcase textiles from both the museum’s collection and from other regional institutions. We will illustrate some of the lessons learned and stories uncovered, using fabric and fashion as a window into material, social and political histories. Attendees will create and work hands-on with these historic materials.
Cassie Peltier-Poston is a “Williamstown kid” and museum board member. She holds a B.A. in history from Mount Holyoke College (2018) and an M.S. in archives management (2024) and an M.A. in history (2025) from Simmons College. She currently serves as archivist for the Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield.

Bring a picnic blanket and the entire family to enjoy New Orleans-style jazz right here in Williamstown.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase from 6 PM onward, with live music from 7-9 PM.
