Today was a special day for the R&J Tours family as we celebrated Jan’s 85th birthday! 🎉🎂

What started with Ralph and Jan’s vision 36 years ago has grown into a company that now spans three generations of family involvement. Jan’s love for people, dedication, and faithfulness helped lay the foundation for what R&J Tours is today, and we are so grateful for the legacy she continues to inspire.

Jan's family was blessed to spend time with her at her home, sharing memories, laughter, and birthday wishes. They were also honored to celebrate alongside two very special friends of the R&J family, Dan and Sharon Hansen.

BIG NEWS just confirmed for our 2026 Wildlife & Wilderness tour… WE ARE GOING UNDERGROUND at the Soudan Mine! 🎉⛏️

For the past several years, underground tours have not been available — but they’re BACK, and our group is officially scheduled to descend 2,341 feet below the surface into Minnesota’s oldest iron mine! This is one of the most unique experiences in the state, complete with the historic cage ride down and underground train ride through the mine.

Our Springtime in the Black Hills tour is coming to an end. Here are some of the awesome things we did: met Bison, tried striking it rich by panning for gold, crossed off a bucket list item (seeing Mount Rushmore in person), riding and singing with a real cowboy on the Chuckwagon hayride and immersing ourselves in God’s beautiful creation!!!!! Oh and we even saw baby bear cubs!!!! Join us next year!!!!
