little bit more special and comfortable. Our pride of the home is The Enchanted Forest bedroom, an immersive themed room your children will love sleeping and spending time in. Children are invited to embark upon The Enchanted Quest - where they will search around the home for friends that have strayed from The Enchanted Forest. We have also equipped the home with children's toys, books and family games. The fenced-in backyard is a family-friendly oasis that features a fire pit, outdoor patio and playset. Our cozy, farmhouse-style single-story home is located in a quiet neighborhood on a cul de sac. Centrally located in Wilmington, NC, this home is just a 15-minute drive to Wrightsville Beach & Historic Downtown Wilmington. Ample grocery, shopping, and dining are all within a few minutes drive.

Exactly 1 year later we are super proud to be at 42 reviews, all of which are 5 ⭐️. The universe has definitely thrown us some curveballs, from pipe leaks to ants deciding to make our home, their home. But we really believe our customer-centric approach, and how we’ve navigated these unforeseen circumstances with our guests is how we’ve been lucky enough to maintain our 5 star status. Thank you to all our guests for making being a host so easy 💕

We have the most beautiful Five-Lined Skink that likes to visit our outdoor lounge area. We think this is a young one because they have the most vibrant tail when they’re youngest (though females will have a blue tail in adulthood). These lizards are completely harmless and like to dine on a variety of spiders, roaches, crickets and grasshoppers (free pest control, woohoo!). If you happen to see this little beauty roaming around the yard of The Enchanted Cottage, say hi and give him/her a name (we haven’t come up with a good one yet). If you think of good name, please let us know! 🦎 🕶️

We are officially 10 (5⭐️) reviews old today 🎉 🎂🥳

We made the purposeful decision when we launched in April to have a vacation rental that catered specifically for families. By doing this, we knew we would be excluding a much wider customer base and may therefore may have less bookings than your typical vacation rental home. But as a family with two young children we know how hard it can be to travel with little ones. Our goal is to really make the lives of families a lot easier when they do travel, and make their vacation that little bit more enjoyable.

So we are super proud and excited to celebrate our 10th, & all 5⭐️s, review today and we are so pleased to see that everybody has enjoyed the results of all the love, sweat and time that went into our creating our home.

We really want to thank all the amazing guests that we have had stay to date and we look forward to welcoming you back, along with new families, in the future.
