I have this crab pot at salmon harbor tackle awaiting any kind of memoriblia, notes and such that we will be dropping into the ocean friday for dan. ( Big Dan’s Fishing Adventures ) I also have a jar for financial assistance for cindi at this time. And i have a basket for any cards you would like to get to the family. You can also mail things in care of salmon harbor tackle po box 1072. Reedsport, or 97467.

Friday we will be meeting in the bay at 3 to head into the ocean.

Captain Dan Pryor told me 2 days before he passed exactly what he wanted when he was gone. There is no question in my mind I am honoring his wishes. So, at this time, per his request, there will be no services.
I told him, waaaaay too many people loved him for me to do that. 😉 So, in August 2023 we will all gather, here in his hometown, for one heck’of a Celebration of Life for 💚 Big Dan Pryor 💚 I will try to have the date firmed up by 1/31/2023.
A huge thank you to each and everyone one of you for reaching out, for your posts, comments, funny stories, cards, letters, etc..
His family and I can feel all the love, hugs, good vibes, healing light, prayers. Each one of you are comfort for us. Please keep them coming 😘 ~ Cindy

For anyone who may not have seen the devastating news, it is with a heavy heart I must inform you that Captain Dan has passed away unexpectedly yesterday afternoon. There are no words to help this make sense, or to fill the gap he will leave behind in so many people and the community as a whole. If he knew you then you know he genuinely ares for every person he even shared one conversation with. He was a admirable man.

Please feel free to share your favorite Big Dan story or memory as I’m sure many of us have. If who had a trip booked with him. The future please call Annalise @ Wi******er Bay Charters 541-361-0180 and she will try to schedule you with a fellow Big Dan Captain.
