After experiencing Yellowstone with my own family, I came home with A LOT of opinions about how I would plan this trip for a client. 😂

Because Yellowstone is incredible—but it is NOT a vacation I recommend just showing up for and figuring out as you go.

We learned when to get up early (hello, sunrise in Lamar Valley 🌅), where to stay, how to group Yellowstone attractions so you aren’t spending your entire vacation driving, and even how flying into Salt Lake City and driving to Idaho saved our family THOUSANDS in airfare.

But this trip became so much more than Yellowstone.

One of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor is getting to dive into a destination while planning a client’s trip. Right now, I’m working on a Greece itinerary for next month, and it’s impossible not to daydream along the way.

From wandering through whitewashed villages to sailing across the Aegean, Greece has so much to offer—but I keep coming back to the food. I’m currently researching authentic farm-to-table cooking experiences where travelers can gather fresh ingredients, learn family recipes, and enjoy a meal together overlooking the countryside or sea.

It’s these meaningful, local experiences that often become the most treasured memories of a trip.
