Experience first class guided waterfowl hunting on Colorado's majestic Front Range with Front Range Guide Service. Most of our hunting locations are centered near the Windsor area, although we manage farms from Wellington south to Longmont and well east of Greeley. Th

is area encompasses about a 50 mile radius to put you where you need to be for the best shooting opportunities at that time. All properties we hunt are leased exclusively by us and managed properly to provide you with the waterfowl hunt you should only expect from a waterfowl outfitter. Now the Eastern Front Range is known by many in the waterfowl industry as the best Canada Goose hunting in the lower 48. Colorado also has some exceptional duck hunting, and can often last way into the late season. It is not uncommon to bag as many as seven or more separate species in one outing.Dove hunting on the Front Range often can be fantastic with stable weather. Come experience what we as wingshooters here on the Front Range are fortunate enough to enjoy daily from mid-fall through the entire winter.

With a strong feed lined up and favorable wind conditions, we made the decision to enjoy one final evening hunt. After a long season filled with hard work and countless late nights, we chose to focus on the experience and sharing the moment with our guides and everyone who played a part in making this season such a success.

What an incredible spring snow goose season, and one we’ll never forget. We’re beyond thankful for the guides, scouts, landowners, and everyone who helped make it all possible. But most importantly, we’re grateful for the clients who chose to spend their time in the fields with us. Your trust and support mean the world. Although we give all the glory to God. Until next season šŸ»

ā€œTHE TRAINā€

There is victory in the Lord, we sing! As we entered the latter part of the season, snow goose numbers were quickly declining. However, being the only spread in the area worked to our advantage. The few adult geese still around committed confidently to the decoys, dropping in on the first pass. Combined with a few flocks of migrating geese, it made for an incredible hunt shared by just a couple of guys.

Cold and windy conditions may not be ideal for tanning, but they are certainly what we consider prime ā€˜killing weather.’ This hunt was particularly unique as we chose to explore an area where we had limited prior experience. With little to go on, we took a leap of faith and by the grace of God, it hit the bullseye.

Option D
Snow goose hunting is a constant challenge, requiring careful consideration and adaptability to predict the best location for success based on the following day’s conditions. This particular hunt was deemed ā€œOption Dā€ because, after facing numerous obstacles, it was one of the last places where we genuinely felt confident about setting up. Although we knew the conditions were less than ideal, we approached the hunt with a positive mindset, ready to make the most of any opportunity that came our way. By placing our trust in the Lord and believing that everything happens for a reason, we were blessed with an incredible outcome—one of the best hunts of the season.

This week’s motto was ā€œOne Step Ahead.ā€ After a tougher-than-usual start to the spring conservation season, we chose to set aside past knowledge and adapt to the ever-evolving patterns of snow geese. Our focus shifted to anticipating their movements rather than relying on where they had been. Staying adaptable and open-minded was key, and while we strive to piece together the puzzle through experience, we ultimately give all credit to God for guiding us each day and blessing us with incredible hunts.
