Today’s Foodie Friday for the Picky Eater has me heading back to Magic Kingdom for one of my favorite character dining experiences!

Crystal Palace

Inspired by Victorian greenhouses of the late 1800s, The Crystal Palace brims with light, topiaries and tropical palms. It's an enchanting spot to dine in the heart of Magic Kingdom park with views of Cinderella Castle and Main Street, U.S.A.

As you dine on scrumptious fare, Winnie the Pooh and pals from the Hundred-Acre Wood stop by for photos and autographs.

Start your day with delicious traditional breakfast fare, freshly baked pastries, fruit and more.

For lunch and dinner, choose from mouth-watering favorites like roasted carved meats, freshly prepared pastas, delicious salads and beyond.

And delight in warm seasonal cobbler, soft-serve ice cream and other scrumptious desserts—the perfect ending to your lunch or dinner.

How to Get Free Disney World Dining Plan for Kids (Ages 3-9) in 2026

Throughout all of 2026, guests staying at one of our more than 25 Disney Resort hotels will get a free dining plan for their kids (ages 3 to 9) when purchasing a dining plan as part of their package for the other members of their party (ages 10 and up). Dining plans can help guests maximize their stay with added peace of mind, letting them enjoy some of the many dining locations we offer from meals to snacks and kid-friendly favorites.

The kids free dining plan offering can be combined with other select special offers, meaning they may still be eligible to take advantage of other deals we later roll out for 2026! This is awesome!

Another way to save ✅

I highly suggest ordering groceries ahead of time. The front desk will hold them for you. I have used Amazon and Walmart and it was super easy. Buy snacks, water, milk and other essentials so you don’t have to spend a lot on food in the parks. In a standard room you will have a beverage cooler and most food courts have toasters and microwaves. If you are in a villa, you’ll have a whole kitchen! 🙂

On this week’s episode of Foodie Friday for Picky Eaters… 🤪

50s Prime Time Cafe
Where: Hollywood Studios

One of my favorites for several reasons, it’s 50s Prime Time Cafe! This place has a special spot in my heart because it gave my cousins and I a lifelong friendship with one of our servers 20 years ago! I know that sounds weird, and it is. 😂 Love you Elizabeth! It’s a blast from the past when you walk into this all-American eatery themed like Mom’s kitchen.

Bring your appetite and your sense of humor, because Mom and the extended family aren’t above giving you lessons in table etiquette—and doling out punishment to misbehaving boys and girls. Pull a vinyl chair up to the Formica table and tuck into hearty home cooking like Mom’s old-fashioned pot roast, Aunt Liz’s golden fried chicken and so much more. Just make sure you wash your hands, put your napkin in your lap and keep your elbows off the table, unless you want a stern talking-to from Uncle Fred.

I love me some Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken! This is the best place to go if you want to interact and have fun with your servers.
