We're so excited to introduce Dushyant as our new full-time staffing manager! Dushyant has a rich background in leading hiking and mountaineering expeditions for all ages in the Himalayas. He moved to western NC from India to earn a master's degree in experiential and outdoor education and brings extensive experience in not only guiding, but also in logistical and staffing management. We can't wait for everyone to meet him this summer!

Helping teens learn resilience and lean into challenges (rather than shy away) is a huge part of the Adventure Treks experience. It's so important for them to embrace a growth mindset so they can grow up to be confident, capable adults ready to take on anything!

Whether it’s practicing Leave No Trace wherever you go, picking up litter (even if not your own), or supporting trail maintenance, we believe every AT student plays a role in protecting the wild places we love.

It's time to start introducing the people you all know and love... our 2025 leadership team and instructors! These are the people who become lifelong role models and mentors to and make the magic happen for our students. We're thrilled to bring you this year's team, starting with one of our regional directors: Wells Jones! Wells was a five-year Adventure Treks student who is now returning for his 7th year on staff; he unofficially holds the title of "director of FUN" at AT!
