Gulf Coast Casinos Brace for Impact from Hurricane Ida - In response to the predicted track of the fast-moving Hurricane Ida, Gulf Coast casinos are closing for the safety of their associates & property. Harrah's New Orleans and Harrah's Gulf Coast close today at noon. The IP Biloxi closed this morning. The casinos will remain closed until the threat has passed.

Of course we are all excited about the recent merger of Caesars Entertainment and Eldorado Casinos to form the NEW Caesars Entertainment dynasty, but personally, I'm not sure ANYTHING excites me quite as much as the world famous Porcini Mushroom Ravioli at THE ROW in Reno. I would fly to Reno on my own dime just to eat this pasta - that's how good it is! And thanks to the merger, I can use my comps to cover it.
