We’re spending our last full day at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and I’m already wishing we had more time. 🌺☀️🌴

One of the things I love most about Aulani is that when you’re on property, you feel completely removed from the outside world—almost like being in the Disney bubble, but in Hawaii. Yet you’re still close enough to explore the island, visit Pearl Harbor, tour Kualoa Ranch, enjoy the North Shore, and experience everything Oahu has to offer.

Today we visited Pearl Harbor and the Pacific Fleet Museum. 🇺🇸

No matter how many times you read about it in history books, standing where these events actually happened is a completely different experience. It was both fascinating and humbling to learn more about the events of December 7, 1941, and the impact they had on our country. (This is my third time visiting here and I have learned new information every year.).

The museum does an incredible job telling the stories of the men and women who served, and the exhibits bring history to life.

If you’re visiting Oahu, I highly recommend setting aside time for Pearl Harbor. It’s an important piece of American history and an experience that stays with you long after you leave. 🇺🇸. You will want to book a tour prior and I can help with that!

One of the things we wanted to do again during our stay at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, was Makahiki, the character breakfast. 🌺🌴✨

Reservations are required for this experience, and I definitely recommend booking in advance. The food was amazing, and unlike many Disney character meals, breakfast is served plated rather than buffet style. The characters visit each table multiple times, giving you plenty of opportunities to interact with them without feeling rushed. It makes for a fun and relaxing experience.

I was super excited for the POG juice! 🍍🍊🥭 It’s one of my favorite Disney breakfast treats. If you’ve never had it, POG juice is a blend of passion fruit, orange, and guava juices—and it’s delicious!

Two years ago we were in Oahu and drove past Kualoa Ranch. Before seeing it, I honestly had no desire to visit. But the moment I saw the stunning mountains rising straight up from the coastline, I knew I wanted to come back and explore it.

Kualoa Ranch is a 4,000-acre private nature reserve and working cattle ranch on Oahu's windward coast. It's also one of the most famous filming locations in the world. Movies and shows filmed here include Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, Jumanji, Kong: Skull Island, 50 First Dates, Lost, and Hawaii Five-0.

Today we finally got to experience it for ourselves, and the scenery was even more impressive than I remembered. Pictures don't do this place justice. The lush green valleys, dramatic mountain peaks, and ocean views make it easy to see why Hollywood keeps coming back.

They offer a variety of different tours at different price points. We did the Jungle Expedition Tour that focused on the beauty and history while also seeing a few of the filming sites.

If you're visiting the Hawaiian islands - I definitely recommend exploring the islands. There is so much beauty and history here. 🌴⛰️

Aloha from Hawaii! 🌺🌴

We are staying in a one-bedroom villa at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and it is perfect for us. The villa can sleep five so the three of us have plenty of room to spread out. I love having a kitchen, living room, and washer/dryer and our view is amazing!

After our Disneyland adventure, we’re ready to slow down a bit, soak up the sun and enjoy a little aloha spirit. 🌺

Two parks in one day! 🎢🏰

Yesterday, we started at Disney California Adventure, and ended the night at Disneyland. We even squeezed in character dining at Storytellers Cafe!

If you’re a Disney fan, I highly recommend visiting these two parks. They each have their own personality and so many unique attractions you won’t find in Florida. My favorites are Cars Land at Disney California Adventure and Fantasyland at Disneyland.

We purchased Lightning Lane, which helped us maximize our time, and park hopping was incredibly easy since the parks are directly across from each other. Walking from one park to the other takes just a few minutes.

Now we’re off to our next Disney destination—Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii! 🌺

We had an early flight to California this morning. I intentionally planned a long layover so we could go to Disneyland tomorrow before continuing onto our final destination.

Somewhere between landing and grabbing our bags, someone said, “We should just go to Disneyland today too!”

Five minutes later and a quick call home to make sure my husband was on board with our slightly questionable decision, we were all set. 🏰✨🫣

A spontaneous Disney day was exactly what we needed. We rode rides and had fun noticing all the little details that make Disneyland so unique.

Best Day Ever! And we’re going back tomorrow too. 😂🏰✨

Summer is here! ☀️🏰✨ We spent our first free night of summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios checking out everything that’s new (and catching Fantasmic!, of course!). There is so much happening right now! New entertainment, characters, and updated experiences across all 4 parks. Even a newly painted castle at Magic Kingdom! Yet it still feels like the same Walt Disney World we all love. ❤️
