This week has been complete insanity! To jump from having the parks completely shut down to being so busy we can hardly breathe has felt like an absolute rollercoaster of a ride but we are SO thankful!

Yesterday I asked Lauren how Biance does it? I means seriously, how is it possible to fit so many things into one day? Her answer was simple, “she has a team!”. Touché my friend!

Today we added a new team member and we can’t wait for you to meet her.

What we do isn’t necessarily impossible, but it takes time, dedication, patience, knowledge, practice, and a love for the job at hand. Building unforgettable memories is our daily mission and we do it well.

This is about our tenth time visiting The Boathouse now and every time we visit, we’re reminded of why we continue to go back.

Fresh, delicious seafood, fun, fruity drinks, and friendly service is the key to any good seafood establishment but The Boathouse nails it every time.

It’s impossible to visit without getting some of their freshly shucked oysters from the raw bar or my favorite, the ever so satisfying shrimp cocktail.

But the real star here, the absolute show stopper, is the Tuna. A giant raw tuna steak sits beautifully on top of blistered Shish*to Peppers, with a sea of soy lime vinegerette and wasabi Mayo. If you enjoy fresh fish and your spices kickin, this entree is sure to become your new favorite meal.

We skipped dessert and headed over to Gideon’s Bakehouse for a giant sized cookie the side of my child’s head - but more about that later!

Dreaming of visiting the theme parks this year but still not sure what to expect?

Here is a list of everything Disney is doing to protect us during these times and we have never felt safer!

1. Park capacity has been majorly reduced which means that now is the best time to go!

2. Temperature screenings for all guests as you enter the park.

3. Socially distanced queues. All lines have place holders six feet apart allowing plenty of space between guests.

4. Face masks required at all times other than when eating. At first we believed this was going to be so hard but then we realized we’re doing it everywhere else anyway. It actually feels very reassuring knowing everyone is playing it safe.

5. Hand sanitizer stations everywhere! We bring our own anyway but there is no shortage in the park!

6. Rides are constantly being wiped down between guests to make sure everything is sparkly clean!

We’re often asked if it feels different being at the parks in this phase or if the magic is gone. I can honestly say that it’s quite the opposite. The magic is alive and ready for you!

Even before the pandemic, Disney did an amazing job of cleaning the parks with pressure washing daily and trash cans every 50 feet. They have gone above and beyond to make the parks a safe place for families to connect and we are incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved.

Becoming a Disney Travel Advisor was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

They say if you do what you enjoy then you’ll never work another day in your life and this couldn’t be more true for me.

Planning vacations for families brings me so much joy! Here are some of the highlights in my day:

✨I get to meet new people every day! Even though I’m often emailing and speaking on the phone, I feel an instant connection and have made lifelong friends with clients through this business!

✨I get to visit the parks all the time! I’m an Orlando based agency which means I live right outside the parks. This gives me the opportunity to stay on top of everything that’s happening and best of all - it’s so much fun!

Disney announced today that Festival of the Lion King will be returning to Animal Kingdom this summer! 🦁

I’m not gonna lie, I teared up when I read it. This show has to be the best in Disney history and it’s been heartbreaking visiting the park without it.

I’ll never forget the very first time I took my niece. She was barely two.. as we exited the show she was balling crying so we all thought she was scared. We couldn’t have been more wrong, she was so sad that she had to leave!

The show will be a modified version of what we’ve all seen before and of course, they’ll make sure the crowd is safe and socially distanced. The most important thing is that they’re coming back and we are over the moon!
