Between juggling life, work, and all the moving pieces of this build, the updates took a back seat, but that doesn’t mean progress hasn’t been happening… because a LOT has.

One of my favorite updates to share: the upstairs loft sleeping spaces are coming to life 🙌

We designed two custom trundle bed setups, one in each corner of the loft. Each side features:
✨ A full queen bed
✨ PLUS a queen trundle underneath
✨Bonus! They have built-in library bookshelves 📚

So yes… that’s FOUR queen beds up there 😍 Perfect for families, girls’ weekends, or groups that want to stay together but still have their own cozy space! It’s been fun and exhausting watching this space transform from framing… to something that’s actually starting to feel like The Hideaway 🖤. Decor pics coming soon!

🖤 Black Cabin Progress Update! 🖤
Big milestone this week! The ceiling build is officially almost done, and it’s looking amazing. The rich black tones of the ridge beam + natural wood details on the ceiling are starting to come together exactly how we imagined.

We’re getting so close to the fun part: styling, furnishing, and opening the doors for Airbnb guests soon! 😍 Thanks to everyone following along...your excitement keeps us going.

🖤 Cabin Build Update! (Finally…)

Yes, we know… we’ve been terrible at posting updates. Life has a way of making you pick between building and documenting—and our team has been deep in the sawdust and construction for a while. 😅

BUT… the black cabin is coming to life, and it’s starting to feel really real. Think moody, modern, and tucked right into nature—exactly what we imagined (and then some).

More photos and progress coming soon—we promise to do better. Maybe. 😉
