🧪🔬 Summer Science is off to an amazing start at Wonder Lab! 🌱✨

Our young scientists have been busy exploring, investigating, questioning, and discovering! One special moment this week came from a child proudly dressed in a lab coat and goggles who exclaimed, “I’m a scientist!” 🥼🥽💚 That excitement and confidence is exactly what Wonder Lab is all about.

Each morning begins with Music & Movement 🎶💃🕺 — a joyful way to start our day together before heading off on our scientific adventures!

So far, campers have:
🍎 Dissected fruits and vegetables while searching for seeds
🚶‍♀️ Enjoyed outdoor “walkabouts” to observe the world around them
🧫 Investigated a mysterious creature concocted by Dr. T from Mad Science of DC
📚 Explored science books and materials in their home bases
🌱 Observed seeds beginning to sprout and grow

Every day has been filled with curiosity, hands-on learning, movement, and joyful discovery. We can’t wait to see what our scientists uncover next! 🔍✨

Teachers and staff are busy preparing for a fun filled week and a half of 🔬🧪👩‍🔬Summer Science: Wonder Lab! We can’t wait to welcome our teams tomorrow morning!💜💚

As we wrap up another wonderful school year, we also prepare to say goodbye to a few very special members of our school family. 💛

This year, five beloved teachers will be moving on to exciting new chapters in life. While we will miss them tremendously, we are so grateful for the time, love, and dedication they poured into our students and our school community.

Three of our teachers are military spouses whose families are being relocated to new duty stations. One teacher has made the heartfelt decision to stay home and care for her aging father, and another will be beginning a new adventure homeschooling her kindergartener.

Each of these women has left a meaningful mark on our school. They have loved your children well, supported one another faithfully, and helped make our community such a special place. We are incredibly proud of them and thankful for all they have given over the years.

Please join us in wishing them all the very best in their next chapters. Once part of our school family, always part of our school family. 💕
