We are heartbroken to share that our beloved teacher, Ms. Charisse Thomas died earlier this week. If you were lucky enough to have spent any amount of time in her presence you recognize just what a bright light we've lost. To know Charisse was to feel immediately welcomed and accepted just the way you are. She was a passionate advocate for early childhood education and her brilliance was easily witnessed every moment she was in the presence of children. Her ability to ignite imaginations and engage an entire room of preschoolers with her storytelling and mere presence was a sight to behold. We will forever hold Charisse in our hearts. We send our love and light to her family and anyone who had the pleasure and opportunity to know her even a little, for you will understand our great loss.
A celebration of life for beloved Day School teacher, Charisse Thomas, will be held at St. Matthew's on Saturday, July 26, at 11:00AM. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall. Family, friends, and all who loved Charisse are welcome to attend.
