Hello friends! My name is Mary Kate Fitzpatrick, John Fitzpatrick’s daughter and
the founder of a new wine tourism company, Odyssey of Wine Tours Inc. After working
around the world for many years in the wine industry, this business is my dream come
to life: providing curated wine tours that focus on the intersection of wine with
culture, gastronomy, literature, and heritage. In 2021, I had the incredible
opportunity to live and work on the Blue Zone island of Ikaria, Greece, while
completing my Master’s thesis. I fell in love with the island, its people, and of
course, its beautiful wines. Alongside the world-class winemaker of Afianes Wines,
Nikos Afianes (featured in the Netflix series Live to 100), we have created this
boutique wine tour to showcase the layered beauty of this special place. For the
launch of our tours this upcoming summer of 2025, I would love to extend a 20%
friends and family discount. If you are someone who likes to travel authentically,
