The Dinky Trail

The Dinky Trail The Dinky Bike Trail follows the path of Wisconsin's famous narrow gauge train "The Dinky." The "Dinky Trail" begins at the Dinky General Store in Woodman,WI.

It is a 15 mile on-road trail between Woodman and Fennimore with beautiful scenic views and historical markers along the way. Here you can eventually rent a bike,grab a snack or park your car to embark on a free day of entertainment and enjoyment on the "Dinky Trail". You will follow along both the Wisconsin River and Green River where your imagination will fill in all of the blanks of what in mig

ht have been like to ride the famous Dinky Railroad from the late 1880's until 1929 when the Dinky made it's last run. Once you reach Fennimore you will have and opportunity to visit the Railroad museum and have lunch at a home-style cafe or restaurant before returning to the Wisconsin River and the village of Woodman. Dinky Days starts today! Right here at The Artist's Eye Gallery patio from 4pm-8pm! We'll have art displayed, live music and wine! If you can't make it tonight, tomorrow will be the main event behind The Dinky General Store from 10am until end of day. Come celebrate 100 years since The Dinky Train's last run here in Woodman!

The Dinky's Final Stop

Woodman Dinky Days is commemorating the 100th anniversary of the historic southwest Wisconsin train. The annual event brings art, music, and good food to all who attend.

Kick off Friday night, May 29th with art and wine at The Artist's Eye Gallery. Numerous area artists will have their works on display. Enjoy live music while you stroll and enjoy the art. This event starts at 3pm.

Saturday morning a vendor fair, model train displays and memorabilia, and video presentations will begin at 10am. Additionally, a Grand Opening will be happening for The Dinky General Store. Their house-made pizzas will be available all day. Of course, there will be more live music for you to enjoy.
