I attended the Switzerland Travel Experience 2026 yesterday and walked away with some serious trip inspiration. Here are a few highlights from the reps I met with.
**Mt. Titlis**
Sergio Scheiwiller from Titlis Cableways gets the award for most impressive mountain experience I heard about all day. Mt. Titlis sits above 10,000 feet and is home to the world's first revolving cable car, a glacier cave with ice that is up to 5,000 years old, and Europe's highest suspension bridge. This is one of those places that genuinely looks like it belongs in a movie.
**Swiss Museum of Transport -- Lucerne**
This one surprised me in the best way. Sandro Joos walked me through what is actually the most-visited museum in Switzerland. It covers the history of mobility across land, water, rail, air, and even space, with tons of interactive elements that make it genuinely fun for all ages. There's also a 25-minute themed ride about the history of Swiss chocolate done in partnership with Lindt. Families are going to love this one.
**The Swiss Travel Pass**
Christelle Deillon from Travel Switzerland broke this down for me and for clients who want to explore Switzerland without renting a car, this pass is a game changer. One ticket covers trains, buses, and boats, plus access to over 500 museums and some of the most breathtaking panoramic train routes in the world. There's also a complimentary Swiss Family Card. If you're planning a Switzerland trip and haven't heard of this, we need to talk.
**Radisson Blu Hotel, Lucerne**
Henrieke Patkovic had me at "central lakeside location." Right on Lake Lucerne, minutes from the train station and old town. Spoiler: I'm hoping to stay here myself when I bring my family to Lucerne this December.
