It’s an annual fundraiser for Woodsville High School’s softball team - buy the card, and you get access to discounts from FIFTEEN local businesses in the Haverhill/Woodsville/Wells River area.

This year we’re offering 50% of all rentals for those who have the card. Simply buy the card, input the discount code found in our box, and the discount will be applied when you book online.

We’re happy to support WHS sports, and just as happy to make our offerings more affordable for local families.

Paddle the Border 2026 is coming up on Sunday, May 17!

We'll be there helping get everyone launched in the morning. More volunteers are always welcome!

In addition, we'll have a few of our boats available to borrow - free of charge - to those that wish to paddle, but don't have equipment.

Fingers crossed for sunshine and a calm river!

Happy First Day of Spring!

The sun is on its way, warmer days are ahead, and we here at Ammonoosuc Outings cannot wait. Soon, we'll all be exploring the woods and waters that our beautiful region has to offer.

Season Passes for kayak and canoe rentals are now available! Passholder benefits include free rentals, with delivery to all of our drop-off locations, as well as discounts on small equipment rentals and other items. There are no blackout dates, and the pass lasts the entire 2024 season - through to Columbus Day weekend.

Paddle the Border is starting now! Come find us at the Woodsville Community Field. Paddlers are getting in the water, and we’ve got plenty of boats available if you want to join.

One more shuttle bus will be leaving Bedell Bridge at 11am, so you can leave your vehicle at the end point, ride to the start, and paddle back.

Only four more days until Paddle the Border!

Ammonoosuc Outings will be at the launch location (Woodsville Community Field) on Sunday, May 19 with all our available boats. The event starts at 10:00am.

We won't have internet access to process card payments, so if you plan on renting a kayak on site, please bring cash! Otherwise, you can book your rental ahead of time by visiting our website!

Event organizers will be providing shuttle rides for paddlers! If you plan on renting one of our boats, simply drive to Bedell Bridge to start your day, and the shuttle will bring you back to the starting point. Shuttles will leave at 10am and 11am. We'll bring the boats back at the end of the day, so there's no need to worry about transporting any equipment you've rented from us.

Warmer weather is upon us, and soon we'll all be getting outside!

Do you dream about getting out on the water, but don't have a kayak? No problem! We make it easy. When you reserve a boat with us, you'll have the option of several beautiful lakes, ponds, and rivers to choose from, and we'll drop off the equipment there. All you have to do is show up and paddle!

Your rental is for the full day (9am to 4pm) and whenever you're done, simply lock up the boats on shore, and head home.

Don't forget, Paddle the Border is happening Sunday, May 19, 2024!

The spring paddle leaves from Woodsville and ends at Bedell Bridge State Park.

Ammonoosuc Outings will be offering $35 kayak rentals for the event - you can get your boat right at the riverside, and we'll pick it up at the bottom! (Shuttle rides for paddlers can be arranged as needed ;) ).
