Official Mount Saint Charles Academy

Official Mount Saint Charles Academy MSC is a private, Catholic junior-senior high school in the tradition of the Brothers of the Sacred

Mount Saint Charles Academy is a coeducational, Catholic, junior-senior high school located in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Founded by the Brothers of The Sacred Heart in 1924, Mount Saint Charles Academy continues a tradition of educational excellence and holistic formation within a caring and supportive faith community. We believe that a student learns through his or her experience of the total sch

ool environment. As a result of this belief, we begin with the formation of a school community where, through diverse academic, co-curricular, faith development and service experiences, the whole child can be formed.

On June 23, the Mount community will come together for our first annual Day of Giving, a day dedicated to investing in the students who make Mount Saint Charles extraordinary.

Last week, the Class of 2027 participated in their Junior Day of Service, putting Mount's commitment to service into action through meaningful work in the community.

Students split into two groups, with one serving at Dare to Dream Ranch in Foster, RI, where they painted, constructed tables, and helped beautify the property in support of the nonprofit's mission of serving veterans, service members, and their families through therapeutic equine and horticultural programs.

The other group volunteered at Community Harvest Project in North Grafton, MA, planting more than 3,500 plants that will provide approximately 43,000 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

Today, our seniors walked the halls of Mount for the last time as students.

As is tradition, the Class of 2026 spent part of their final day signing each other’s shirts, a simple but meaningful reminder of the friendships, memories, and moments they have shared throughout their time at Mount.

We will miss seeing each of them in our hallways and classrooms, and we wish them nothing but success and happiness in all that lies ahead.

Last week, our Fine Arts Department came together for an unforgettable evening of creativity, collaboration, and expression at Art in Motion: Illusions.

Through dance, live art, music, light, and visual storytelling, our students explored the space between perception and reality, chaos and control, illusion and truth, challenging audiences to look deeper and think differently.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this immersive experience to life and to all who joined us!
