SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Rad Air of Smithville / Wayne County. As a vital member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine automotive maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify any potential problems or safety concerns.
- Repair and replace automotive parts, such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Perform alignments, tire balancing, and other wheel-related services.
- Test drive vehicles to evaluate performance and verify repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding recommended services and repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal automotive training program or equivalent work experience.
- ASE certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
