Yesterday wrapped up the last day of the river extension and the last day of my fall Chinook season. We ended up with a mixed bag and put some 2 fish limits in the boat!

Coho season is rolling in fast! Don't wait, get on the calendar!

First pass madness! The river re-opener didn't disappoint!

How you care for your fish after catch can dictate the quality of not only your table fair, but also the quality of your eggs if you plan to keep them for bait. Bleeding your fish being at the top of the list. Tracing the gills with a smaller knife is much faster and more efficient than other methods in my opinion. Give it a few minutes to do its thing and get it on ice as fast as possible. Don't be the guy dragging your fish around on a bleed rope for hours in 70° water... 🤢
